Fear

Fear will be the death of all of us, as far as I can tell so far. Stupid, stupid Samneric. They probably didn't see anything anyway. They probably just saw a leviathan of a sea bird. I'm not saying the hunt for the beast isn't fun, but it is ridiculous. Jack is so waxy. He needs to relax. He needs to get some self-control also. This whole beastie thing seems interminable. It just keeps going and going and going. I wish everyone would forget the beastie. There's nothing besides the beast that's pulling us apart.But if this beast really is real (which it's not) I think it's best that we hunt it down and kill it. We have to go through so much trouble because of something that doesn't exist though. Those darn littluns. Especially that one that cries a lot. Percival Wemys Madison of the ridiculously long address. He scares everyone, he makes the beastie seem like a dangerous creature that actually exists. I wish I could be more of a leader though. No one even speaks to me diffidently any more. Everyone is looking at Jack to make a move mutinously against me. And according to what I've seen so far, I think they might be right. I wonder though... How much longer will the fear the beastie is responsible for keep playing with us before it breaks all of us apart?
