In order to learn about _________________, we had to create/perform/ write/etc…
The purpose of this project was to learn about the Renaissance and how different it was then than it was today. We also were supposed to learn about some of the important characters that really brought the Renaissance into being. Each of us were supposed to research one famous person from the Renaissance and study them really hard in order to write three pages at least about them and almost become them for the Renaissance Ball.

In this project, I learned how to…. (skills)
In this project, I learned about the renaissance and how people acted and the way they wrote their songs and music, the way they painted their art and the way they lived their lives. It was interesting to learn about all the Renaissance characters there were and how differently and how brutally they acted. Also, it was interesting to explore the way they talked and how hard it was to understand them. It makes you wonder if 600 years later, people will be confused by the way we talk now.

Next time, I would…
I enjoyed this project because it was fun to learn about the world back then and compare it to the world today. I was intrigued by how the lifestyles they lived back then seemed normal, but how primitive they seem today. Next time though, I think it might have been better if I had used more encyclopedias or books for my research instead of the Internet since my character led such a short life, he did not become as famous as some of the other playwrights such as William Shakespeare.
