Wave OP #2

1. The motto 'Strength through discipline' is already going through the school already because friends have already started telling each other about the feeling of energy and unity that was felt in Mr. Ross's class. One example of a student applying the motto to their life already is Robert, the class creep, who was praised for probably the first time in a long time.

2. As David watched, the class loser straightened some of the hair on his head and stared at his reflection. This quote really stood out for me because it makes you realize that maybe The Wave could really help some people start to come into society. Robert had never brushed his hair or tucked his shirt in before but The Wave gave him a reason to try to get into better hygiene.

3. What is the true meaning for The Wave to be in effect? Why is Robert all of a sudden so concerned about fitting in with The Wave? Isn't this idea like communism a little?

2) I also realized that The Wave could help people. It could also destroy the community. Who knows?

3) I also wonder what is the true meaning of The Wave. What could it be in full swing? A sight to behold, or a horror to flee from? Things like this make you question life and what it would be like if you chose a different path. Robert is really trying to fit in because he could be a part of it and be respected. He's trying to be all he can be.

1.) I never thought of someone applying the motto to thier life but I think it is a very good way to say how it effects someones life.

3.)I do not know the true meaning of the wave but many people may have their own idea. I think robert is trying to fit in because the wave is opening a new door for him and he is going to take it.
