An incident like this happened three years ago called the Cedar Fires. Thanks to precautions, and numerable warnings, The body count was low. But these fires started just yesterday, and already there have been some casualties.
It's times like these that we realize how gifted we are, and how quickly our gifts can be snatched away from us. It's times like these where we realize how lucky we are to just have what we have and how unlucky others are to have nothing at all. It's at times like these that we recall on a lesson we've known since the earliest age, that we sometimes forget. Sharing. And sometimes nature puts up tests to test our ability of sharing. I think that maybe this fire is one of them.
So let us prove we can and will still share and share our belongings and food with the people who lost their homes, their valuables, and maybe even the people closest to them.
Let us donate what we can to the Evacuees who escaped the fire. And let us have a moment of silence for those who lost their own selves in The Fires.
