Seventh Grade

1. As I walked home from school, I stopped by the bookstore and got three french textbooks. I liked this sentence because it implies that Victor doesn't really know french. He said to Teresa that he would let her stop by so he could help her with her french. If Victor doesn't know french and he wants teresa to be his girl, he better study up! There's not much left to say really.

2. A part of the story I really connected with was the part with Victor's friend doing extremely weird stuff to look tough. I can totally, totally, totally, relate to that. One of my best friends does the weirdest stuff to look cool. And it doesn't even make him look cool! The worst part is it started catching on to another friend that made them do the stupidest stuff. I mean, it's so lame, I feel embarassed even knowing them almost. Go figure.
