1. A few things I disliked about the book were how it kept switching about from person to person so suddenly. It became confusing and I started wondering exactly how I was supposed to see the whole thing, which didn't seem so big a deal since he only had to bring his english grade up to a C- which he was not so far off from. Also, the strange changes in formatting bugged me, so I can honestly say that the book did not start off perfectly.
2. What I did like about the book was that all of a sudden grades are extremely important because if he doesn't bring them up, he won't be able to make the track team and most likely, Allison won't like him anymore. It shows how important grades are and how you need to try hard to succeed in school in your classes even in the ones you don't like as much.
3. Do you think Phillip will manage to bring his grades up?

1. I disliked how it kept switching from person to person too because it was really confusing and you did not know what was happening to who. i do advise you to describe more of the story because i still don't know your personal thoughts on the story so far.
2.I agree with you that grade are extremely important, my mom would always say school before baseball and now i get why she kept saying that. i agree about how you said you need to try hard to succeed in school, in your classes even in the ones you don't like as much.
3.I think he will manage to bring his grades up because he really cares about track and doesn't want to give it up.
1: i agree with the fact that it was a little confuzing at first, but you get used to it after a while. It did keep me interested though, putting together the story from all the little parts.
2:I agree that it is important to put school before sports. Even though its important to do both, sports woont get you through life, school will.
3: I think he will try to get his grades back up, but hes not going to like doing it. HE likes track so much, and has put in so much hard work, it would be such a waste if it was all for nothing. Hes gonna have to do some serious extra credit for sure xD
